Participation Grants

Grant Description
ERIP, LACES, and Stanford's Center for Latin American Studies have established a fund to partially subsidize the conference fees or travel expenses of participants from Latin America and the Caribbean. Participation grants are offered to a limited number of applicants based on financial need 

ERIP, LACES y El Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos de Stanford han creado un fondo para subsidiar parcialmente el costo de inscripción o el viaje de participantes de América Latina y el Caribe. Se otorgará un número limitado de becas tomando en cuenta la necesidad financiera de l@s solicitantes.

ERIP, LACES e o Centro de Estudos Latinoamericanos da Stanford University criaram um fundo para subsidiar parte dos gastos de participação e viagem de participantes da América Latina e do Caribe. As concessões dessas limitadas bolsas de participação e viagem serão determinadas pelas necessidades financeiras d@s requerentes.

Application Requirements
- Cover sheet must include: name, email, and affiliation.
- CV
- Brief proposal narrative including your presentation title and abstract, and how attending the conference would inform your research interests, activism, and/or academic career.
- Kindly note that you will need to sign into a Gmail account to fill out the application form.
- Please submit your grant application form only after you have received a proposal acceptance email. 
 

Important Dates
- Monday, July 25, 2022: Participation Grant Submission period opens  
- Monday, August 1, 2022: Participation Grant Submission deadline
- Tuesday, August 2, 2022 - Monday, August, 15, 2022: Participation Grant review period
- Monday, August 22, 2022: Participation Grant Results emailed to applicants
